In 1971 Helen and Vincent retired from farming and built their new home in Gower.
Helen was an active member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar Society in Easton, and was a long time member of the Pleasant Prairie Club. In later years she enjoyed bowling, bingo and quilting with her church group. Her passion was tending her flowers and providing a legacy of homemade quilts for her loved ones.
