Harry “Skip” Cunningham

Harry “Skip” Cunningham III, 55, of Edgerton, MO passed away June 4, 2017.
 
He was born on June 11, 1961 to Harry Cunningham II and Frances V. (Hunt) Cunningham in Toledo, OH where he grew up and attended Waite High School.  Skip served is country in the US Army with the Military Police, retiring in 1998.  
 
On December 3, 1982, he was united in marriage to Stephanie Joy King.  After their marriage, they lived in various places during his military career.  After his retirement
they moved to Edgerton, MO where they made their home.
 
Skip also worked for St. Luke’s and was currently working at Children’s Mercy Hospital as a security officer.  He enjoyed fishing, classic cars and finding good deals at thrift stores and garage sales.  Skip loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
 
He was preceded in death by his father Harry Cunningham II, and sisters Tammy Cunningham and Beverly Cunningham.  

Skip is survived by his wife Stephanie Cunningham; children Cliff Cunningham and wife April and Nicole Jones; grandchildren Ayden and Jillian Jones and Gannon and Hudson Cunningham; mother Frances Cunningham; sisters Betty Shiffler and husband Ray and Helen Lohmeyer; brother Ben Cunningham; several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. 

 
Visitation:  1:00-2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 10th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton.
Graveside Service and Burial with Military Honors:  3:00 p.m. at Ridgley Cemetery.
