Harry Lee Brinton

 

Harry Lee Brinton, 59, of Chauvin, LA, formerly of Gower, MO, passed away, Sunday, August 1, 2010.

He was born on March 2, 1951 to Harold Finis and Saramae (Utter) Brinton in St. Joseph, Missouri. Harry grew up in the Gower area and graduated from East Buchanan High School in 1969.

On December 29, 1984 he was united in marriage to Beverly. After their marriage they lived in Gower for 21 years, where he farmed and owned a logging business. Harry later was involved in Disaster Relief on the Gulf Coast. In 2009 they moved to Chauvin, Louisiana where he continued his relief operation.

Harry was preceded in death by his father, son, Kurt Brinton, sister, Dorothy Mae Brinton.

 

He is survived by his wife, Bev, of the home; children, Sharry Brinton and fiancé, Chris, Tiffany Brinton, Lyndsey Ray and husband, Jeremy, Danny Caribardi, Deanna Brinton, Jennifer Orr and husband, Tim, and Amy Pansza and husband, Jamie; grandchildren, Dakota, Drew, Adriana, Jessica, Melodee, Madelynn, Kaitlyn, Christian, Sydnie, Anthony, Taylor, Gavin and Cayden; his mother, Saramae Brinton; sisters, Kitty Ford and husband, Mike, Jane Jackson and husband Roger, and Mary Kay Brinton; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 9th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.

Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Bev Brinton.
