Harold Wayne Sutton

 

Harold W. Sutton, 71, of Kansas City, MO, passed away, Friday, February 19, 2010.

He was born on May 25, 1938 to Clarence Olin and Elta Bernice (Magee) Sutton near New Hampton, Missouri. He grew up and attended school in Parkville, Missouri.

On April 15, 1955 he was united in marriage to Lawanna Enslow. After their marriage they lived in Parkville and Gladstone.

Harold was a truck driver and worked for Crouch Brothers Trucking, McLean Truckline, and retired from Fleming Babcock Inc. on Dec 31, 2007. He was a member of Teamsters Local 41.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Billy Sutton and Jack Sutton.

He is survived by his wife, Lawanna, of the home; two children, Karen Kidwell and husband, Robin, Kansas City, MO and David and Lynn Sutton, Missouri City, MO; three grandchildren, Melissa Hurtado and husband, Shawn, Stephanie Westburg and husband, Evan, and Kari Kidwell, great-grandchildren, Sophia and Ellia Westburg, Lane and Alexis Hurtado; brothers, Jerry Sutton and wife, Marie, The Villages, FL, and Larry Sutton and wife, Beth, Springfield, MO; sister-in-law, Judy Sutton, Prairie Village, KS; sister-in-law, Madeline Miller, Smithville, MO, brother-in-law, Jerry Enslow and Ann, Kansas City, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23rd at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, with visitation from 12:30-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Burial: Ridgely Cemetery
