Harold Dene Stubbs

Harold Stubbs, 82 of Birch Tree, MO, formerly Camden Point, MO passed away, Thursday, October 16, 2014.

He was born February 23, 1932 to Cleveland Hendrix and Mary Katherine (Crobarger) Stubbs in Camden Point, MO where he grew up and graduated high school.  He then served his country in the U.S. Air Force during WWII.

On August 29, 1962 he was united in marriage to Jo Ellen Stagner.  After their marriage they lived in Smithville, MO and in 1995 they moved to Birch Tree, MO.

He worked for the State Highway Dept in Platte City, MO, and was a barber for the Osawatomie State Hospital.  After his retirement he worked for the City of Winona, MO.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Howard Stubbs and J.C. Stubbs, and sister, Georgia Lee.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ellen Stubbs, of the home; twin brother, Bobby Gene Stubbs and wife Elizabeth, sister, Betty Boone and husband Robert, and sister-in-law, Sylvia Stagner; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service:  2:00 p.m. Monday, October 20^th at Camden Point Baptist Church.

Burial:  Camden Point Cemetery
