Harlen Ray Mizell
Harlen Ray Mizell, 70 of Dearborn, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013.
He was born on June 9, 1943 to Nathan Ragene and Darys Vey (Wallingford) Mizell in Wichita, KS. Harlen grew up in Dearborn and graduated from North Platte High School. He later attended Gards Business College in St. Joseph, MO.
September 3, 1965 he was united in marriage to Norma Jean Anderson. After their marriage they lived in Dearborn where they made their home.
Harlen worked for TWA as a mail clerk and later retired from GE Lamp in North Kansas City after over 35 years of service. Harlen was also a lifelong farmer.
He was a member of the Dearborn Christian Church. He enjoyed boating, fishing and camping and loved spending time with his friends and family.
Harlen was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Norma of the home; children, Michelle Frakes and Brian Mizell and wife Jeannie; grandchildren, Ryan Ty and Regan Scott Frakes, Brandon, Jordon, and Kylie Mizell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gordon and Kathy Anderson, James and Karen Anderson, Pamela Wells, Sheila and Terry Fry, Sally and Robin DeSpain, and Kerri and Casey Patton; numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday January 2nd at the Dearborn Christian Church
Donations: American Heart Association or the Dearborn Christian Church.
