Hallie (Lee) Golden

Hallie Golden, 95 of rural Osborn, MO passed away, Friday, June 27, 2014.

 

She was born on August 24, 1918 to Charles and Rose (Bradford) Lee in Weatherby, MO.  She attended Cameron schools and graduated from Cameron High School in 1937.

 

On April 5, 1939 she was united in marriage to Mervin Golden.  They lived on a farm near rural Osborn.  Her husband, Mervin, passed away February 2, 1998. 

 

Hallie retired from Whitaker Cable Corp in 1985 and was a member of the Whitaker Retirement Club.  She was also a member of the First Christian Church of Cameron.

 

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Kay Harless, three brothers and ten sisters.

 

Hallie is survived by one daughter, Sharon Sloan and husband Loren; two granddaughters, Sheri Thompson and husband Bryan and Mindy Ingram and husband Jose; five great-grandchildren, Keirstyn, Kyleigh, Brayden, Ava, and Adyson; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
