Lavonne, we are so glad to have met your Mom and visited with her on several visits with you. I loved her heart and will never forget her helping me pick tomatoes and peaches to take with us on our trip West. And how I wished she could see me chasing all those tomatoes from one end of the coach to the other, after the refrigerator door opened and the bowl they were in fell out and tomatoes went everywhere. A smile comes to me when I see her holding her favorite chicken around the coup while gathering eggs. A very sweet lady with a smile as large as her heart. I know God was glad to see her when she walked through His door. She had spent her time on earth and needed time to rest and watch over your family. I am sorry she had to leave you when you needed her strength.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Virginia and I worked together at JE Dunn, when I was hired in 1993, until she retired. She taught me a great deal. What I remember most about her was her cheerful attitude everyday and her willingness to help. She loved to talk about her family and to hear about mine as well. She was also known at JE Dunn for her AMAZING cinnamon rolls. She would get up before the chickens and bring 4 or 5 pans in for all of us to enjoy. She was a wonderful and amazing woman. I hope you find comfort in knowing just how much she was loved. Sincerely, Vicki Gibson

Virginia was a fine lady. I will miss her. I remember working on Howards' equipment and she would come out to the barn and tell me supper was ready. I would decline because I was dirty. She would say, I didn't ask you, I'm telling you, supper is ready . There is soap in the hall bathroom. yes ma'am. She was like my second mother.
