I saw Sue for the first time in a long time 3 months ago. Sue is the woman I spent most of my life with, outside of my wife of 36 years. We worked together at four different companies over three decades and pursued our MBA's together; graduating at the same time. Sue was a wonderful and talented colleague and good friend. Rick and family... so sorry for your loss. I worked with Sue at Lee Apparel, and we lived just a few blocks away from you in Olathe. She always had a smile, or something good to say, along with her great laughter. She and I had kept in touch over the years, and she would come to lunch with some other Lee coworkers. I will always remember her beautiful smile, and most of all, her positive attitude during her illness.... She told me how much she loved being a Grandma, and on the last time she came to lunch, had told me that Lauren was pregnant. She is an angel, looking over her family, and loving you all from afar, but she is really here in our hearts. May God bless you all at this time of sorrow.
