Attending our first dinner at church, I was very nervous bc I am a shy person, but Kathy sat right next to me and welcomed me with her smile. She made me feel comfortable and she was genuinely kind. From that day forward, she never hesitated to say hi or have a conversation with me. She is a legacy of Smithville and First Christian Church of Smithville. She will be greatly missed.
