Dear Gladys, Mike, LeiAnn and Family, I am deeply saddened by Ben's passing. He was my Bureau "Daddy" and more importantly my friend. I was fortunate to spend time with him during training classes, staff assistance visits, as well as a KC Chiefs game (the coldest I have ever been). He was truly the kindest man I ever knew and he always knew when my dauber was down as he put it (i.e. I was sad). After learning of his passing, I sat in my office and shed some tears and reflected on my relationship with him. Just then, classic Ben popped into my head, when he once told me, "Cooper, don't let this old portly frame fool you, I'm still young at heart!". I think that summarized Ben best, forever young at heart. I am truly sorry for your loss. I loved Ben and the world has lost one of the best men I have ever known. God Bless to all.
