We have many fond memories of Aunt Patsy and she leaves something very special behind. She leaves us memories of many things she said and did. As long as we have those memories, Aunt Patsy will live on in our hearts and minds. How comforting knowing that she is reunited with Uncle John. May you Rest in Peace Aunt Patsy.

I will never forget Patsy kindness and great sense of humor from the first time I met her and she gave me the grand deluxe tour of Platte City. Though she spent most of her life in that small town, she had a great sense of the world and a generosity of spirit that I will always treasure. Patsy always made me feel like part of the family and my deepest condolences to everyone she loved and who loved her.

Steven, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Patsy was a one of a kind gal. I remember her smile and laugh well from the years of our moms working together at Jim’s Law Office. Thinking of you.

Patsy, We have been far apart for a few years but I never have forgotten our "times" together. You were our girl scout troop leader and taught all of us to "promise to do our best, to God and our country". Later we became closer as we joined "the Do Nothing Club". Those times were the greatest for me because of you. Even though you wore some old high heels to eat at the Golden Buffet in NKC, and laughed at that entertainment, I recall so much laughter. Friend I have missed you for a long time. My heart is broken but we will meet in heaven and laugh again. God loves you but I shall love you more. Rest now, you deserve it. See you. /s/ Ida Beth Cox

Patsy and I became great friends after she said to me, we’ve always known Roger, but where did you come from? I said I” I came from Platte County......, in Wyoming!!! She was shocked and said, in surprise “that’s where WE came from”. I can see the amazing look on her face! From that time forward, we BONDED. Her Dad and my Dad were both named on a “Veteran’s Monument” at the Courthouse in Wheatland. What a surprise to both if us! She had a nice Friendly way about her and we always were going to make a trip out there, but we never made it! RIP, Patsy!

Patsy was a wonderful, spirited person who though we came from different worlds, always made me feel like family. I cannot think of her without smiling and thinking of her smile and laugh. She first showed me around Platte City when I started dating my now wife Natalie Robbins, and she had a great story for every piece of the town, and seemed as interested in my world as i was in hers. There was a fire on main street and we all watched as the car dealer was ablaze, but there was something about the town as there was about Patsy, that was resilent. I know I am among many who will miss her.

Patsy was a roommate to my mother in law the past year. So sorry to see Patsy’s obit. I’ve asked about her several times, but Addington can’t tell me how she was doing. Patsy was so sweet and I loved chatting with her when I would visit. She had such a great demeanor. The last time I spoke to her she told me all about her big garden back in the day. I don’t know if she gardened, but she was very animated about it. Our deepest condolences to your sweet mother and grandmother.
