I am sorry to hear of Mory Lous passing. She was among the first City employees that I remember. And that was because of her friendly and caring personality. She will be missed. However she can now walk the streets o gold and be loved by many who she knew and helped.

Mary Lou Highlander was Ms. Platte County from the start. I knew when she looked at me she was detailing me in the back of her mind of my family and Craig's family. She could have been Ms. Platte County and written the second coming of Paxton Annals aka Mary Lou's Annals. Maybe she did? My heart is sad to lose such a good friend! We had way too much fun everytime we were together !! Always laughter and fun times. One time Mary Lou, Momma, seester Connie and I took a trip to Iowa to see the bridges of Madison County, the Grotto of the Redemption, and spent the night at Storm Lake. We had such a great time. She definitely made the world a better place to be if she was around and I was blessed to have her in my life. Goodbye my friend and I will see you again! I can't wait to see your wings.
