My condolences to Jack’s family. Jack was a great guy, my manager at Applebee’s during my teen years!! He will be missed greatly and always hold a place in my heart!

So sorry to hear this about Jack, I worked for a vendor and he was one of the few nice guys in the restaurant business. He did so much to support the community with donations for Oak Park and even hired my daughter...RIP

I was so sorry to hear of Jacks passing. He was such a good man . I know he loved his family and that he will be missed . Jack was my boss at Applebees for years and was wonderful to work under. He was always upbeat and a blast to be a round.. He was in his words " a rock star" Rest in peace friend.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Jack. A former coworker sent me the link of his obituary. I was at Sam's Club. Stopped dead in my tracks and cried. Memories came rushing back. He passed way too soon. I posted a few stories on his fb page for his daughters to read. He was genuine and kind hearted, funny, a mentor and still one of the greatest managers I've had to this day over 20 years later My heart goes out to your family. May you be lifted up by the good stories you'll continue to hear of how he impacted not only me, but hundreds of others. Jack is looking down watching over you all. Prayers to you all. I so wish I could be there, but will be thinking of you all greatly.

I worked for Jack at Applebees and to this day, still one of the best bosses I've had. I respected the hell out of Jack as a leader and as a man. Thanks to him for all he did for me.
