Pat and I extend our sincere condolences to all the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Dottie. She will forever live in our memories, especially mine as a first cousin. Her smile and her giggle will always be in my mind. Dottie revered her grandmother Neilie Thoele and wanted to emulate her, they both were short in stature and both married and an early age, both were married for many years and both, had 10 children. She and her brother Johnny, at times lived with Grandma and Grandpa Thoele about 2 miles from where I grew up. We were one large family until the 1951 flood and then slowly physically grew apart but always loved each other. She and Johnny were inseparable in early childhood. He must have been calling her as he passed just 3 weeks before her. Dottie, go rest high on that mountain with Gene, "Little" Gene and Johnny.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Dotty when I worked at hillside restaurant. The family afternoon came in for breakfast on Sundays and Saturdays

Our prayers go out to all of the family. We know how hard it is to say this final goodbye and yet it isn’t really final. Sandy and I still talk to our parents in our dreams and our daily activities. When we do talk, we see our folks in the best of health and they always seem to say something that we remember from our childhood. When I think of Dottie, I see that infectious smile and talking about her family. I’ll will miss my cousin but memories of her will live with all of us. God bless you

Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.”

hey mom...I didn't have a chance to write to you yet but I'm doing it now. I miss you so much. I'm sorry I didn't get to come visit yours and dads grave yet. I still plan on doing it...just need a way down there before anything. I miss the way you would scratch my back every night before bed and how we ate crushed ice with coke to drink, and a spoon to munch on the ice. or how we would do root beer floats... I miss your singing. I miss your perfume smells. I miss singing with you. losing you and dad truly killed me. I still don't know what to do without you guys here with me. I miss when you played the piano and just sung. or how you and I would play josh Groban and his song little drummer boy and we would just sing along to it for christmas and thanksgiving. you and dad mean everything to me. I'm sorry for our hard times we had. I even miss how I'd go down on the basement and see you doing your glass art, with your Dremel tool. you had a whole setup. I just still can't believe I lost you and dad. but you're both together and in a better place now. no pain. nothing. you're even with missy. I miss her. she was my favorite first dog I ever fell for. I love you mom. I love you dad. rest in peace mom. I hope you're proud of who I've become and have been doing in my life so far. don't ever leave me...stay watching over me with dad and the other members of the family that we lost...we miss you mom.
