Dorman was a high school classmate and good friend.

Always loved visiting with Dorman and his family. He was such an encouraging person with his thoughtfulness and wit. I worked 2 summers helping with the farm after Dorman and H K had left home, so got to know the family well. Had hoped to come to the funeral, but just moved to Plano, and have a conflict. I will miss Dorman, for a while, but will see him again someday. I love to get to know Richard.

I love Dorman Sallee, he was kind, considerate, loving and faithful. He was the consummate churchman. He always came early for SS which gave me a chance to interact with him each week while he was at LBC. I had the privilege of doing the memorial service for Marg 10 years ago and then I lost the opportunity to connect. I was glad to learn he ended up at FBC Kearney. Dear family, I just saw from a friend on Facebook that Dorman had passed away. I was secretary at First Southern Baptist church and my husband Bucky, was pastor after Bill Pauling. We considered Dorman a friend. He would come and mow and drink coffee with his buddies at church. What a sweet, sweet man. Prayers for you all. Cindy and Bucky Hitchcock

Thank you all for the kind thoughts and memories as I look back one year later. Dad worked on a lot of things while he was here, but what he worked on the most were the things that matter for eternity. He is absolutely enjoying being with the Lord and catching up with those that have been there for a while. His greatest concern here was that others would be ready too. Mom and Dad provided a great Christian home and raised us up in the church. That meant a lot of mowing on Saturday mornings and fixing windows and other repairs as needed. But it was through them and some great men and women teaching me that I came to know the Lord personally accepting Him and giving my.life to Christ. Their labor may be finished, but their work still continues to produce for the kingdom of God. Thank you all for sharing in Mom and Dad's journey and God's great work!
