Don was such a wonderful and humble man of God. He was so loving and encouraging. He always built you up and you would always leave his presence feeling better than when you greeted him. I will greatly miss him and give all his family my condolences and pray God will give them peace and comfort at this time. Love, Debbie Joy

Marilyn, so sorry for the loss of Donald. I remember well the one room school house. The Bowman's and the Stone's were the students and Ruth Anne was our teacher. That has been a long time ago. Donald was always such a nice guy. Take care and God bless.

Hi Marilyn-Very sorry for your loss--A real shame we have lost contact--My memory of you and Donald is being in your folk's kitchen with Donald's arms around you--obviously very much in love--while I am not and have never been a Christian, I respect other's beliefs--if you have access to face book you would see that two of my long time friends (Ana and Whitney) are devout Christians-Whitney's husband is a "preacher"--RE; Their posts--my wife Barbara prays each morning--I have turned to Judaism years ago as I had many Jewish friends and I embraced their faith--Love you --John Diment

Donald and I were students at the one room country school , Eureka. We also attended Cowgill and Polo schools at the same time. My best memory about Donald is his part in the school play "Scrooge" that the Cowgill school put on at Christmas time ( probably Christmas 1950 }. He was in the 8th grade and I was in the 7th. Donald was a really good student, so the teacher gave him the biggest part, Scrooge,. I was amazed at his ability to memorize all the lines he had in the play. ( the teacher would give him several pages to memorize each night and the next day he had it ). I wish we had stayed in touch--------a great guy.

Grandpa will be missed. So grateful for the time I got to spend with him as a young girl and during my Missouri visits! So many good memories. He was a sweet man!
