Dear Family. As you know, David was a special person in so many ways. He was always so kind to me and to all the family. I loved his humor, intelligence, and generally caring heart. He was an avid deer hunter which from experience taught me how important it was to him as I had the opportunity to hunt with him a couple times in my young adult years along with my Dad, Uncle Bill Long. The most important thing to me was how much my. Mom, Joyce (Saunders) Long loved and adored him. She always spoke so highly of him so it made me a fan from day one.
