This goes out to all of the family members of Caleb Hon. I had the true pleasure to get to know this young man for several years. I know that my son Mark Parr became really good friends with Caleb over the years. They made a lot of memories that a lot of people will never forget including myself. I am truly deeply sorry for your loss and I can tell you that I also treated him like one of my own sons. He will be missed.

It was indeed a privilege to have Caleb in the Boy Scouts when our son, Sam, was involved in the scouts. Melissa was an integral part of the scouting adventure that Sam enjoyed for several years with Caleb. Caleb you could see was feisty, inventive and was going to do great in life. RIP.

I didn't have the opportunity to meet Caleb in person but I know his family. I cannot express how deeply sorry I am when I heard about this tragic accident. My heart goes out to you all.
You can see in his pictures that he was a fine young man, that everyone who knew him loved him. His smile larger than life and the light in his eyes which shows me he was very happy.
Alrhough it is my deepest wish to be with you all, we're in a troubled world right now but if I could, I would be by your sides supporting you in what is surely the worst nightmare parents/ grandparents go through.
In his honor I am going to present you with 2 trees, one for the Hans and one for the Coles.
Although you won't get to see this young man grow and expand his horizons, you can plant these and watch them grow and remember Caleb in all the cherished memories you made.
No one ever wakes up and says, I might have to bury my child today...no parent should...it is unfair and terribly heartbreaking.
My deepest apologies and sincerest condolences to all of you...
