Gregory Lynn Edwards

 

Gregory Lynn Edwards, 55, of Gladstone, MO, passed away, Saturday, February 6, 2010 in Kansas City.

He was born on May 8, 1954 to Homer Eugene “Buggs” and Mary Bethene (Stubbs) Edwards in Smithville, MO. Greg attended school and grew up in Smithville and Gladstone.

On June 15, 1974 he was united in marriage to Lori Ann Boor at the United Methodist Church in Gladstone, MO. After their marriage they lived in Gladstone where they made their home.

Greg worked for the Rock Island Railroad for a few years and later worked as an entrepreneur in the car industry for Automotive Profit Builders with clients throughout the Midwest until 2006 when he was involved in an automobile accident.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Shad Edwards.

He is survived by his wife, Lori “Queenie” of the home, children; Keri and Eddie Williams, Meagon Becker, Matt Yates and Chris Becker all of Kansas City and Zachary Edwards and Amanda Kephart of Blair, NE, seven grandchildren; Tyler Becker, Lauren Becker, Preslee Becker, Luke Williams, Joey Williams, Grayson Yates and Samuel Williams, brother; Randy Edwards and wife Carol, Kansas City, sister: Sharon Morvan and husband Roy, Gladstone, several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 11:00 A.m. Thursday, February 11th, at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO.

Visitation: 6:30-8:30 P.M., Wednesday at the funeral home.

    Finally at rest and remains missed by his friends and family. He worked with Woodhouse Auto Family where we bonded as friends. Our regards to the family and Greg “be at peace”.
