Gregory Earl Weese

Gregory Earl Weese, 55, of Plattsburg, MO formerly of Kansas City, MO passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 from an accident at Smithville Lake.

 

He was born on November 17, 1957 to William Earl and Bonnie Lou (Misner) Weese in Smithville, MO.  Greg grew up in the Kansas City North area and in 1976 graduated from Oak Park High School. 

 

Greg was a member of the Nashua Baptist Church.  He worked for Ford Motor Company.  He enjoyed his dog, Red Neck and gardening and loved fishing at the lake. 

 

He was preceded in death by his long time special friend, Sherrie Buren.

 

Greg is survived by his daughters, Tiffanie Weese Munoz and Amanda Weese Carreon and husband Felipe; grandchildren, Carlos, Kyleigh, Christian, Gianna, Javier, Diego and Sergio; his parents, Earl and Bonnie Weese; sister, Debbie Stubbs and husband Richard; brother Mark Weese; former wife and mother of his daughters Brenda Weese Heineken; other relatives and many friends. 

 

Funeral Service:  11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 9th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO

Burial:  Smithville Memorial Cemetery

Visitation:  6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home

    My heart breaks for you. I remember Greg so well. He was such a good friend to my kids, Ric and Rob. Rob took this hard, too. Greg called him frequently.
    Ric passed away 30 years ago on July 5 and I still miss him so much.
