Gregory A. Wilcox

Gregory A. “Yogi” Wilcox, 52, of Stewarstville, MO, passed away, Sunday, August 21, 2011.

He was born on November 20, 1958 to Robert and Jo Sandra (Ogden) Wilcox. Greg attended Northeast High School in Kansas City. He then attended Maple Woods Community College where he became a certified Machinist. Greg lived in Kansas City for many years and in 1995 he moved to Stewartsville.

He worked for Cascone’s in Kansas City, was a machinist at Snorkel in Elwood, KS, and was a manager and bartender at Nell’s Truck Stop in Cameron.

Greg was preceded by his parents and his sister, Teresa Johnson.

He is survived by his children, Jeromie Karr, Wendy Karr, Cassie Wilcox and Cody Wilcox; granddaughter, Patience; sisters, Robin Spellman and Ginger Ealy; aunt, Barbara Teeter, Stewartsville, MO; cousins, Kevin and Darren Teeter; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 2:30 p.m. Thursday, August 25^th with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.

Burial: Mt. Zion Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home.
