GREGG PEERY

Gregg Allen Peery, 45, of Stewartsville, Mo., passed away, Monday, July 4, 2005 at his home.

He was born on January 5, 1960 in St. Joseph, Mo. Gregg attended school in Plattsburg, and entered the U.S. Navy in 1977.

On May 30, 1999 he was united in marriage to Diane Griffin. After their marriage they lived in Stewartsville where they made their home.

Gregg was a member of the Carpenter?s Local Union 110 in St. Joseph.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Allen Peery, and one niece, Sarah Beth McCoy.

Gregg is survived by his wife, Diane, of the home, his mother, Nancy (Sell) Peery, Stewartsville, Mo., brother, George McCoy and wife, Michele, Easton, Mo., sisters, Fonda Bomar and husband, Alva, Fawn Peery, all of Stewartsville, Mo., and Nancy Sloan, Osborn, Mo., step-son, Guy Rhinehart and wife, Annette, Agency, Mo., step-daughter, Jany Rhinehart, Kansas City, Mo., one nephew, Kyle McCoy, two nieces, Anna and Ally Bomar, and four grandchildren, Kirk, Rachel, Kaitlynn, and Ashley.

Gregg was skilled in his trade as a Carpenter and was so proud of the home he built for he and Diane to share.

Gregg?s nieces, nephew, and grandchildren, were his obvious pride and joy, but never overshadowed his love and compassion for the rest of the family.

Visitation: 1:00-3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7th at the First Baptist Church in Stewartsville.
Graveside Service: 3:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Cemetery, Easton, Mo.

Donations may be made to Kendallwood Hospice, First Baptist Church or Culberston Methodist Church both of Stewartsville, or Sarah McCoy Foundation.
