Greg Carter
He was born August 29, 1960 to Gale Douglas and Alberta Kay (Loveall) Carter in Dayton, Ohio where he grew up and graduated from High School.
On August 27, 1994 he was united in marriage to Dell Rachel Goad. After their marriage they lived in Plattsburg where they made their home.
Greg worked at Ellis Elementary in Plattsburg. He loved football, NASCAR, camping and fishing and was an avid Denver Broncos Fan. Greg was a wonderful husband, dad, brother and friend who will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gale and Alberta Carter, his brothers Rick Carter and Jimmy Carter, and his mother-in-law Mary Goad.
Greg is survived by his wife Dell Carter; daughters Mary Carter (Cru Couldry) and Mandi Townsley and husband Bruce; grandchildren Brock and Lainey Townsley; brothers Jerry Carter and Scott Carter; father-in-law Homer Goad; brothers and sisters-in-law Frances and Bill Hubbard, Donna and Archie Chambers, and Connie and Fred Trayler; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville
