Grace Waller
GRACE WALLER
Grace Bridges Waller, 92, of Gower, Mo., passed away, Friday, October 7, 2005 at the Gower Convalescent Center.
She was born on November 17, 1912 to Benjamin Franklin and Della Linola (Sawyer) Bridges near Gower, Mo. She attended school near Gower and later attended Gower High School.
In 1933 she was united in marriage to Fred Bradshaw. After their marriage they lived near Starfield, and in 1946 they moved to Selah, Washington. He preceded her in death. In 1970 she married Arnold Waller. They lived in Tacoma, Washington, and in 1972 they moved to Tampa, Florida. In 1996 Grace moved to Plattsburg, Mo.
Grace worked for Montgomery Wards in Yakima, Washington for over 20 years, and later Gleed Apple Orchard Packing House in Gleed Washington. While in Florida Grace worked for Cash-N-Carry Grocery Store in Tampa, Florida.
She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Starfield, Mo.
Grace was also preceded in death by one brother, Lee Bridges and two sisters, Edith Livingston and Maxine Wagner.
She is survived by two sisters, Hazel McClelland, Gower, Mo., and Straussie Burns, Selah, Washington, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, Mo.
Burial: Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gower, Mo.
