Grace Corderman

Grace Corderman, 77, of Kansas City, MO, formerly Trimble, MO passed away, December 24, 2016.

She was born on November 17, 1939 to Thomas Joseph and Cora Geraldine (Dunlap) MacTavish in Wallaceton, Penn..  Grace grew up in Munson, Penn where she graduated high school.  In 1959 Grace moved to Chicago and began working for Braniff Airlines.

On February 3, 1962 she was united in marriage to Vernon L. Corderman.  After their marriage they moved with the airlines, working in various cities.  In 1974 they settled in the Kansas City area, and in 1988 they moved to Trimble.  Grace retired from Northwest Airlines in 2005.  Her husband, Vernon, preceded her in death on February 26, 2013.

Grace was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her sons, Barry Corderman and wife Robin, Platte City, MO and Brian Corderman and wife Chris, Trimble; grandchildren, Jackie Corderman Jensen and husband Kenny, Brandon Corderman and wife Amber and Jennifer Corderman Brown and husband Jordan; great-grandchildren, Braydon, Travis, Bryson, Jackson, Lexi, Samuel, Karley, and Brady; brothers and sisters, Jeannie Pizzola, Tom McTavish, Gary McTavish, Linda Mortorff, and Diane Flinchbaugh; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 16th at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 8105 W 92 Hwy, Platte City, MO.

Inurnment:  Paradise Cemetery.

Donations may be made to Kingdom Hall.
