Glenn Bee Webb
Glenn B. Webb, 71 of Smithville, MO passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at his home.
He was born on August 16, 1942 to Guy and Eva Florence (Warren) Webb in Smithville, MO where he attended school. Glenn then served his country in the U.S. Army.
On August 21, 1964 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Barker. After their marriage they made their home in Smithville.
Glenn worked for Pence Appliance and was employed with Smithville Housing Authority for 21 years. He later worked for Clay County Parks Department for six years, retiring in 2007.
Glenn enjoyed fishing, bird watching, mushroom hunting, and arrowhead hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen Brooks; brothers, George, Tommy and Larry Webb.
Glenn is survived his wife Carolyn; children, Bryan Webb, Glenna Hollon, Janet McNeal and husband Sam, all of Smithville; grandchildren, Cody and Ciara Webb, Haylee McNeal, Derrick McNeal, and Michelle Hollon; great-grandson, Liam Glenn Webb; sister, Lois Spurgeon; brother, Ralph Webb; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 31st at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO.
Burial: Smithville Memorial Cemetery
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home.
