Gladys was born April 28, 1929 to Claud William and Maud Marie (Boyle) Keck in Independence. Gladys spent the majority of her life living in the Independence area.

Preceded in death by her parents and brother Russell Keck.

Gladys is survived by her daughter, Claudia McCarthy and husband, Art, Gower, MO; son David Price and wife, Jean; grandson Jeremy Price and great-grandson, Dana Price all of Independence. Other survivors include sister Lela Meinberg, Independence, brother and sister-in-law Lawrence and Jean Keck, Blue Springs, MO. Gladys is also survived by her little canine companion Sheba.

At her request there will be no services. Cremation under the direction of Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
