Gerry Ann (Wise) Doerr

Gerry Ann Doerr, 60, of Kansas City North, passed away, Saturday, December 29, 2007 at her home.

She was born on January 7, 1947 to Chester and Shirley (Dixon) Wise in Kansas City, MO. Gerry grew up in the North Kansas City area. In 1965 she graduated from North Kansas City High School, and later attended Parkville College.

On August 27, 1969 she was united in marriage to Ken Doerr. After their marriage they lived in Corpus Christi, TX, Kansas City, MO, the Middle East, Dallas, TX, Seattle, WA, and in 2007 they returned to Kansas City where they made their home.

Gerry worked as a programming analyst for several companies. She was involved with Eagle Mountain Church in FT. Worth, TX, and several other churches where she had lived.

Preceded in death by her father and an infant brother, Joseph.

Gerry is survived by her mother, Shirley Wise, Shawnee, KS; husband, Ken, of the home; son, Sean Doerr, Kansas City, MO; granddaughter, Cassie Doerr; sister, Carol Robinson, Drexel, MO; nephews, Zack and Michael, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Private Family Burial after the service at Second Creek Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
