GEORGE H. BURCH

George H. Burch, 85, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, November 23, 2006.

He was born on October 30, 1921 to William Henry and Susie (Filly) Burch in Warrensburg, MO, where he grew up and attended school.

George worked for Grahm Ship by Truck in Kansas City, retiring in 1982 after 30 years. After his retirement he moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas.

He was a member of the Teamsters Local 41 in Kansas City and a member of the VFW in Hot Springs, AR.

George was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Russell Burch.

He is survived by his wife, Marge, of Hot Springs, AR; one son, Dwayne Burch and wife, Lori, Ferrelview, MO; one daughter, Mary Hale, Chillicothe, MO; two grandchildren, Rachel Lynn King and Corey Michael Hale; two great-grandchildren, Gabriel Cullen and Ryan King; one niece, Jayleen Barker and husband, Eric, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Smithville, MO.
