Geneva Fleshman
Geneva Fleshman, 87, of Dearborn, MO passed away, Thursday, November 8, 2018.
She was born on November 16, 1930 to Rufus McDowell and Margaret Elizabeth (Davis) Fleshman in Platte City, MO. Geneva grew up in Platte City and graduated from Platte City High School. She then attended the University of Kansas where received her teaching degree.
Geneva lived in Tuscon, Arizona where she was a school teacher for over 25 years. She also was a real estate agent and was the manager of a gas station. In 1984 she returned to Dearborn where she made her home. Geneva was an avid KU Fan, enjoyed reading, watching sports, and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and niece, Michelle Roberds.
Geneva is survived by her brother, Rudy Fleshman and wife, Sissy; nieces and nephews, Scott Fleshman and wife Michelle, Barry Fleshman and wife Michele, Sherri Ambler, Phyllis Sartain and husband Mike, and Phillip Fleshman; several great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13th at Dearborn Community Center, Dearborn, MO.
Donations may be made to St. Luke’s Hospice House or Platte County Senior Services.
