Gary Linder

Gary Linder, 62, of Kansas City, MO passed away, May 17, 2022.

He was born on February 24, 1960 to Gerald and Charlotte (Swofford) Linder in Kansas City, MO. Gary grew up in Smithville and graduated from Smithville High School in 1978. 

Gary worked in the warehouse at Western Extra Light in Kansas City for many years. In his younger years he attended Little Platte Baptist Church and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed the country atmosphere and enjoyed being outdoors. He also enjoyed family get-together and cookouts. Gary had a great sense of humor and would do anything for anyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gary is survived by his children, Heather (Brian) Cooper, Shannon (Jordan) Davis, Ashley (Jeffery) Martin, and Alexis Linder; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Carson, McKinley, Donovan, Mason, and Ezekiel; brothers and sisters, Greg Linder, Marty Linder and Julie (Todd) Brinker; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, and many friends. 

 Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 23rd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Smithville with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Inurnment: Smithville Memorial Cemetery
