Frieda Carrico

Frieda Carrico, 81, of Dearborn, MO passed away, Monday, November 21, 2016.

She was born in Nurnberg, Germany, one of twelve children, on November 19, 1935 to Johann Wilhelm and Sophie Babette (Christian) Rohmer.  Frieda attended school and grew up in Nurnberg, Germany.

In 1959 she was united in marriage to Marvin D. Carrico while he was serving in the military in Germany.  In 1967 they moved to Dearborn where they made their home.  Her husband, Marvin, passed away, June 24, 2012.

Frieda worked at Stetson Hat Factory in St. Joseph for over 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Karl.

Frieda is survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gene Carrico, Merillville, IN, Truman Carrico, Dearborn, MO, Dortha Webster, Newton, IA, Betty Hendrix, Edgerton, MO; extended family, Todd and Nina Sampson; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside Service:  11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26th at Dearborn Cemetery.
