  • I am grateful for the life of Mr. Barton. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

Fred was a great friend to my Dad (and Mom) growing up in Gower. Later in life, both Vicki and Fred were cherished friends of my parents. I remember hosting them at our house for a laughter filled luncheon, hearing all the funny stories of childhood mischief. After my father passed, Fred and Vicki were especially kind to my mother. Fred called frequently to check on her, including very recently, after he was on hospice. I know he will be missed terribly here but he will be welcomed by many in heaven.
