Frances Louise McClanahan

Frances Louise McClanahan, 81, of Gower, MO, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007.

She was born on November 4, 1925 to Charlie L. and Lenora Elzina (McKee) Burnett near Cameron, MO where she grew up and in 1943 graduated from Cameron High School.

On December 24, 1955 she was united in marriage to Laurence McClanahan. After their marriage they lived in St. Joseph, MO, Cameron, MO, Marshfield, MO, North Kansas City, MO and in 1989 moved to Gower where they made their home. Her husband passed away, January 30, 2007.

Frances worked for the Dime Store in Cameron. After her marriage she was a homemaker and raised her two children and a granddaughter.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Clinton Dean Burnett.

Frances is survived by her son, Clinton McClanahan and wife, Cyndia, Pomona, KS, daughter, Rose Allen, Kansas City, MO, three grandchildren, Melanie, Daniel and Sara, one great-granddaughter, Alexis, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 4:00 p.m. Sunday July 8^th with visitation from 3:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower

Burial: 10:00 a.m. Monday July 9^th at Frazier Cemetery, Frazier, MO
