Frances (Jeffries) McClain

Frances McClain, 70, of St. Joseph, MO passed away Friday September 20, 2013.

 

She was born on April 8, 1943 to Benjamin Franklin and Bessie Addline (Moore) Jeffries in St. Joseph, MO.   Frances graduated from Easton High School. 

 

Frances attended Family Worship Center in St. Joseph.  She worked as a CMT for several nursing homes in the area.  Frances enjoyed mushroom hunting, cross word puzzles, sewing and loved her dogs Peanut and Popcorn.

 

Frances was preceded in death by her parents.

 

She is survived by her children, Jeannie Stanton and husband Vernon, George McClain and wife Paula, Arnold McClain, Jenny Grable and husband David and Ernest Lee McClain; grandchildren, Mary Jo and Todd Burns, Kurt and Paige Stanton, Melanie McClain, Brittani Yager, Jaclyn McClain, Trevor McClain, Kolton McClain, and Holly Grable; great-grandchildren, Cali, Cage, Wade, Molly, Kaidon, and Kamdon; siblings, Billie Stroud, James Jeffries and wife Ola, Ben Jeffries and wife Brenda and Eva Ash and husband Rob; life-long friend, Loretta Maude Buckler, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

 

Graveside Services:  11:00 a.m. Monday September 23^rd at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, St. Joseph, MO.

Donations may be made in her memory to the funeral home.
