Frances Ann (Bohannon) Jones

Frances Ann Jones, 71, of Holt, MO passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014.

 

She was born on October 7, 1942 to Allan and Lorene (Weaver) Bohannon in Hartville, MO where she grew up and in 1960 she graduated from Hartville High School.

 

On December 10, 1966 she was united in marriage to Johnny Lee Jones.  After their marriage they lived in Kansas City, KS and in 1976 they moved to Holt where they made their home.

 

Frances was a stay at home mom who took pride in caring for her family and others.  She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and fishing.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lindell Bohannon, sister, Sharon Evans, great-grandson Adryan Jones, and granddaughter-in-law, Sarah Mozley.

 

Frances is survived by her husband Johnny Jones; children Vickie Hilliard and husband Lonnie, Russell Lansdown and wife Paula, Rocky Greenwood and husband Dan, Doug Jones and wife Glenda and Ray Jones and wife Christie; grandchildren Hollie, Lance, Jessica, Logan, Kayleigh, Kyle, Amber, Tommy, Laci, Alyson and Oshean; great-grandson, Harrison; brother Carl Bohannon and wife Karren; sisters, Mac Burks and Linda Kay Bailey; several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. 

 

Funeral Service:  11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 3^rd at First Baptist Church, Kearney, MO with visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Burial:  Antioch Cemetery, Holt, MO

Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
