Evvalyne (Waters) Lloyd

 

 

Evvalyne (Waters) Lloyd, 77 of Smithville, formerly of Plattsburg, Trimble and Stewartsville, MO passed away, Monday, May 5, 2014.

 

 

She was born on October 13, 1936 to Rice Daniel and Vera Lou (Dray) Waters in Trimble, MO where she attended school and grew up.

 

 

On August 5, 1953 she was united in marriage to Lester Robert Lloyd.  After their marriage they lived in the Plattsburg, Trimble and Stewartsville areas.  In 1977 they moved to Smithville where they made their home.  Her husband, Lester, passed away October 30, 2003.

 

 

Evvalyne was a homemaker, who took care of her family and friends.  She later worked for the Big V Bakery in Smithville for several years.

 

 

She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother David Waters, grandson, Michael Daniel Watson, and great-grandson, Michael Benton.

 

 

Evvalyne is survived by her children, Randy Lloyd and wife Terry, Bonnie Rasmussen and husband Steve, Diana Montgomery and husband Richard, Ginny Watson and husband Steve, Teresa Fischer and husband Robert, and Jeff Lloyd; thirteen grandchildren, Christina Watson, Bradley Watson, Andy Lloyd, Shawn Rasmussen, Cody Rasmussen, Linda Piemonte, Elizabeth Piemonte, Cory Fischer, Heather Fischer, Michael Lloyd, Kasie Lloyd, Dillon Lloyd, and Tiffany Schlagel; four great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Aiden, Kylie, and Brilynn; sisters, Louise Ralston and husband Roger, Addelyne Moore, Louetta Wade, Juanita Anderson and Lucille Meek; brother, Lewis Waters and wife Ruth: several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

 

Funeral Services:  3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 7th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with visitation one hour prior to the service.

 

Burial:  Smithville Memorial Cemetery
