Evelyn Margaret Marshall
Evelyn Margaret Marshall, 73, of Gladstone, MO passed away April 3, 2022 at her home.
She was born on January 23, 1949, to Arthur Omer and Viola Wilma (Morris) Matthews in Kansas City, MO. Evelyn grew up in Kansas City North and graduated from North Kansas City High School.
On September 3, 1968, she was united in married to Finis “Mike” Marshall. After their marriage they lived in Avendale, MO and later Mountain Home, AR. In 1983, they moved to Smithville where they made their home.
Evelyn drove a school bus for Coulters in Smithville for many years. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers George Matthews and Roby Matthews; and baby sister Joyce Matthews.
Evelyn is survived by her husband Finis “Mike” Marshall; sons Michael Marshall and Monte Marshall; daughter Michelle Rouchka and husband George; and Steve Hensley and wife Terri who later joined the family and their children James and Emma and granddaughter Vayda. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ashley Karl and husband Joey, Rylan Rouchka, Josie Rouchka and Logan Marshall; great-grandson Blaze Karl; brothers John Matthews, Robert Matthews and wife Gail, Richard Matthews and wife Linda and Frank Matthews; sister Peggy; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Virgil City Cemetery, El Dorado Springs, MO.
