Evelyn Jane (Kindle) Babbitt

Evelyn J. Babbitt, 75 of Edgerton, MO passed away, Tuesday, May 8, 2012.

She was born on May 12, 1936 to Enoch Sherman and Flossie Edith (Wiseman) Kindle in Benton County, Missouri. She graduated from Warsaw High School.

On February 26, 1956 she was united in marriage to Lee Earl Babbitt. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City, MO and in 1961 they moved to Edgerton, MO where they made their home. Her husband, Lee, passed away, May 8, 2011.

Over the years Evelyn worked various jobs, and took pride in being a caregiver. She was a member of the Gower Goodtimers and enjoyed playing music.

She was also a member of the Paradise Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Dillard, Leland, and Forrest and sister Emma Lou Barr.

She is survived by three sons, Jim Babbitt, Mike Babbitt and wife, Jayne and Terry Babbitt; eleven grandchildren, Justin, Aaron, Jared, Annie, Carla, Ben, Bryant, Preston, Jacob, Deborah, and Caleb; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12th at the Paradise Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Inurnment: Reed Cemetery
