Eugene Welsh
Eugene Wesley Welsh “Legacy”, 46, of Easton, MO passed away, January 17, 2025.
He was born on March 10, 1978 in St. Joseph, MO. He grew up in Easton and graduated from East Buchanan High School in 1996.
He worked at World’s of Fun, Greenie’s in Plattsburg, Western Reception Diagnostic and Correctional Center and later the St. Joe Frontier Casino. Eugene enjoyed movies, gaming, music, and tabletop games. Eugene had a wicked sense of humor, was very stubborn, extremely kindhearted, and a genuine true friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Twila Ellington, step-brother, James Ellington, and his grandparents.
Eugene is survived by his sister, Irene Ueligger (Tiffany); niece, Deanna Scofield (Brandon Hays); great-nephews, Conner and Gavin; great-niece, Lizzie; best friend, Michael Gilpin; several friends, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation: 5:00-6:30 p.m. Monday, January 20th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.

Eugene and I were cousins I remember coming to Grandma and Grandpa house every summer and really enjoyed all the fun times we had did a lot of running around and riding bikes he was a great guy to hang out with I will remember him always
