ESTHER L. HADLEY

Esther L. Hadley, 70, of Smithville, Mo, passed away, Saturday, March 19, 2005 at St. Luke?s Northland Hospital.

She was born on August 22, 1934 to George Witfield and Dorothy Roberta (Harris) Turner in Clay County, near Nashua, Mo., where she grew up and attended school.

On April 11, 1951 she was united in marriage to Richard L. Hadley. After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home, and raised their family.

Esther was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda, her parents, and one brother, John Turner.

She is survived by her husband, Richard, of the home, four sons, Rickie, Rodney, Richard D. and Robert and wife, Cindy Hadley, all of Smithville, Mo., seven grandchildren, Sonny, Tanya, Ricky Lee, Ami, John, Samantha, and Tyler, seven great-grandchildren, Kierstyn, Jakeb, Madelyn, Joel Wyatt, Adrian, Jaxon, and Memphis, one brother, Ben Turner, Smithville, Mo., and one sister, Georgia Plum, Kansas City North, ?special daughters?, Marilyn Moore and Rosa Garcia, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23rd at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, Mo.
Burial: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithville.
Visitation: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Smithville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
