Esther I. Simmons

Esther I. Simmons, 75, Tracy, Mo., passed away, Friday, June 8, 2007.

She was born on January 30, 1932 to Walter and Verda Ann (Pickering) Storey in Wyoming, Illinois, where she grew up and graduated from high school.

On November 7, 1953 she was united in marriage to Lloyd A. Simmons, Sr. After their marriage they lived in Tracy, MO, where they made their home.

Esther was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rose Jolly, her parents, one brother, Marvin Storey, and sister, Margie McMillian.

Esther is survived by her husband, Lloyd; children, Elizabeth Hawkins and husband, Lynn, Camden Point, MO, Lloyd Simmons, Jr. and wife, Jill, Tracy, MO, Gary Simmons and wife, Lorraine, Kansas City, MO, and Peggy West and husband, Rick, Tempe, AZ; four grandchildren, Joe Hawkins, Travis Webster, Brandon Simmons, and Rikki West; sister, Pauline Snell, Wasola, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside Service: 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 12^th Platte City Cemetery.

Visitation: 6:30-8:00 P.M., Monday at the Tracy Baptist Church.
