Eric Edward Elkins
Eric Edward Elkins, 43, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, November 15, 2007 with his family by his side, from complications of pancreatitis.
He was born on October 13, 1964 to Edward Neal and Juanita (Thompson) Elkins at Shawnee Mission Hospital. He attended Nall Hills Grade School, Nallwood Jr. High and graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School. He then attended KU majoring in History and Business.
Eric was preceded in death by his father who was an avid golfer at the Plattsburg Country Club and grandparents Floyd and Gladys Thompson and Argil and Laveda Elkins
He is survived by his mother, Juanita and brother, Kurt of the home, as well as aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 24th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
Private Inurnment: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithville.
