Suzy Vaughn

Amy “Suzy” Vaughn, 61 of Smithville, passed away Monday, January 31st at Tiffany Springs Rehabilitation Center, due to complications of Diabetes. 

She was the daughter of Walt and Jeanne Vaughn and the granddaughter of Leonard and Nina Wilson of Smithville. She was the wife of Debbie Shoaf, who preceded her in death. 

She is survived by her cousins Mary Lou Key of Holt, Kristina Noll of Liberty, and Michael Smith of Russellville, Missouri, and her special friend, Brad Crider. 

Suzy worked for TWA at KCI, until they were bought out by American Airlines. She then worked for American, until health problems forced her to retire. She was a member of the Smithville United Methodist Church.

Graveside Service: 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10th at Community of Smithville Memorial Cemetery.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13th at Smithville United Methodist Church, Smithville, MO.
