Steven Michael Watson, 61, of Smithville, MO passed away June 4, 2018. 

He was born on November 24, 1956 to Billy Tom and Carolyn Rose (Burton) Watson in Malden, MO.  The family spent the majority of their life in Arkansas and settled in Smithville. 

On June 25, 1980 he was united in marriage to Ginny Lou Lloyd.  After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home. 

Steve was a family man and enjoyed fishing and doing woodworking.  He was a wonderful husband, dad and grandpa.

He was preceded in death by his son Michael Daniel Watson, his fathers Billy Tom Watson and Duane L. Anders and grandson Michael Dean Benton.

Steve is survived by his wife Ginny Watson; children Christina Benton and husband Arron and Bradley Watson; grandchildren Kylie Watson, Zoey Benton, Gabriel Benton, and Oliver Benton; mother Carolyn Anders; brother Joe Wayne Watson and wife Dianne; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
