Rodney VanSickle, 71, of Kansas City, MO passed away, October 21, 2023.

He was born on December 1, 1952 to William Dale and Mildred Ileane (Ponting) VanSickle in Kansas City, KS. Rod grew up in the Northland and graduated from Oak Park High School. 

Rod made his home in Kansas City and loved hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Rod is survived by his brothers, Chester (Joyce) VanSickle and James VanSickle (Deanna Zerr); two nephews, Tyler (Chelsea) VanSickle and Chandler (Christina) VanSickle; great nieces and great nephew, Rogan, Millie, Bella; other relatives and many friends.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4th at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1441 NE Englewood Rd Kansas City, MO.
