Robert N. Hazlett, aged 65, passed away on 02/10/2022. 

He was born in Cleveland, OH on 12/31/1956, son of Robert and Dorothy Hazlett. He was the oldest of three children. He lived in Ohio, Michigan, and Virginia prior to coming to Smithville, Missouri in the mid-1990s.

Bob was a technical, quality control, and lab operations manager in the field of photographics and digital imaging for over 25 years with Kodak and Fujifilm. As a boy and young man, he worked in many other positions in a variety of other fields.His passions were family, animal welfare, child welfare, baseball, football, and history. Bob was stricken with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and Stage Four Laryngeal Cancer just past the age of 50, and it slowed him down the rest of the way.

He is survived by his daughter, Helen (James) Williams, and grandkids Christion and Kennedy. Sisters Mindy (Ken) Oster, Marty (Dan Colclasure) Hazlett, and Nephews Casey and Cody Oster.

He was pre-deceased by his son, John, in 2013, mother, Dorothy, in 2020, and Father, Robert, in 1994.

Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 5:00 pm Tuesday, February 15th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO

Inurnment will be at Goss Cemetery, Smithville, MO
