Vance Michael Brown, 29, of Independence, MO passed away March 1, 2023. 

He was born on January 10, 1994 in North Kansas City, MO.  Vance grew up in Smithville, MO and attended Smithville High School and was active in the Boy Scouts.   

Vance worked for A Friend With A Truck Movers in Kansas City, MO.  He enjoyed poetry, music and his many friends.  Vance was very loving, kind and generous beyond his means.  

Vance is survived by his parents Nick and Pattie Brown; his brothers Brodrick Brown, DJ (Bri Huff) Brown, and Dakota Brown; uncles Charles Brown and Steven Yeager; aunts Claudia Yeager-Smith, Mary (Russell) Farley and Elizabeth (Michael) Carpenter;  his extended family Eli Knorr, TJ and Mary Williams, Jerry, David, LaDonna, and Keeshon; other relatives and many friends.   

Memorial Service at 4:30 pm Thursday March 9th at Grace Community Church in Smithville,  MO
