Theresa I. Blair, 78, of St. Joseph, MO formerly of Gower, passed away, May 10, 2017.

 

She was born on April 23, 1939 to Chester Dale and Mary Lorraine (Jensen) Gore in San Antonio, TX.  She grew up and
attended school in Hiawatha, KS.

 

Theresa was a cook at the Gower Convalescent Center and the Correctional Facilty in St.
Joseph.  She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Theresa enjoyed knitting and Sudoku.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Alma Jo Wharton, Connie Jo Gordon, Alice Trueblood, brother Warren Gordon, and step son Barton Blair.

 

She is survived by her children, Bill (Carol) Meyers, Karl Meyers, Kelly Blair, Jay (Brenda) Meyers, Phillip (Valerie) Burton, and Tammy (Mike) Kennedy; numerous
grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Gore, Jerry Gordan and Jim Gore; sisters, Marjorie Suddarth, Barbara Gasperino, and Edith Jensen; many
nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

Memorial Service:  11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13th at Grace Evangelical Church in St. Joseph, MO.
